After moving to our new house, we had one room left to organize and finish. Instead of using our formal dining room as what it should be, we have made it a playroom. Its far less pretty than the rest of our house, but its the kids area so I cant let myself care.
Entertainment center: Free handme-down from friend
Toy Kitchen: Free, someone was throwing it out
Love seat: $20 at a yard sale
14 in 1 game table: $90 target clearance
Bookshelves: Given to use years ago
Baskets: Average of one dollar at yard sales
This is the room BEFORE and the stuff we needed to fit in it:
Five hours, two trash bags, three large bags to good will, and a good dose of prozac this is how it looks finished. I dont love the room, its plain and not very pretty, but its practical and works.
